John Hasenauer, PA-C, MPAS

John Hasenauer started his medical career at the age of 14. He was a member of a volunteer ambulance and was trained in cliff and river rescue. He also served as a volunteer fireman. In the 1970’s, Mr. Hasenauer was also a hotshot for the United States Forestry, based in Pennsylvania and Idaho. During this time, he fought forest fires and was a fire line medic in Northern California's Klamath National Forest, as well as Southern California's San Bernardino Valley. Mr. Hasenauer started his nursing carrier as an LPN and later advanced to RN. He also advanced in his military carrier to become the head nurse of Battalion Medics in the Army Reserves. He did two tours overseas, both in Germany. While working in Alaska as a charge nurse in the emergency room and as a medivac flight nurse, Mr. Hasenauer became friends with a very nice and very intelligent Physician Assistant. This PA served as an inspiration to Mr. Hasenauer, encouraging him to become a PA. Mr. Hasenauer graduated from the University of North Dakota on January 12, 2000.Mr. Hasenauer is certified in Family Practice as well as Surgery, and has a background in Internal Medicine.

Mr. Hasenauer holds degrees from Somerset Techncal Institute, Somerset County Community College, Lehigh Valley University, the University of North Dakota, and New Manhattin University.
