This 2010-2011 flu season Premier Immediate Care will be offering the usual influenza vaccinations for persons aged 6 months and older as well as the new flu vaccination for persons over 65. Seasonal flu vaccine under age 65 is $25.00. For person over 65 years of age the cost is $50.00 (likely this can be billed to your Medicare insurance). Please come in to one of our two offices to receive a flu vaccination with no appointment. We will post to this page when we have received our delivery of influenza for this upcoming flu season.
People at special risk for the flu and thus strongly encouraged to receive a vaccine are:
· Age 65 years and older
· Children younger than 5 years
· Pregnant women
· Persons with any chronic medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes or heart disease
· Persons with reduced immune symptoms (such as receiving chemotherapy or who have HIV)
· Persons who care for persons who are at special risk
Benefits of using Premier Immediate Care for your Flu vaccine:
· All our own staff are vaccinated for the seasonal flu
· Free surgical masks are available in our lobbies and at the front desk
· Cleaning stations with alcohol wash are present in our lobbies for you to use
· We triage patients that present to the front desk with flu symptoms. Where necessary these patients will be taken to another part of the clinic in order to keep exposure minimal for our well patients

· Testing for seasonal flu is available in our offices
· Our offices are wiped down with an antiseptic three times every day.
